Tomar una cabaña en la montaña—rústica, íntima, con el aroma de la madera envejecida y el susurro del viento entre los pinos—y convertirla en una residencia familiar no fue una tarea de arrasar, ni de imponer.

Fue un acto de observar y de respetar profundamente lo que ya estaba ahí.

Las vigas siguen hablando, las ventanas aún enmarcan la neblina de las mañanas como lo hacían entonces, y cada rincón conserva esa calidez difícil de fingir. Esa cabaña, hoy casa viva, sigue siendo un refugio, porque sigue oliendo a bosque, a aventura.

To transform a mountain cabin—rustic, intimate, scented with aged wood and the whisper of wind through the pines—into a family home was never an act of erasure or imposition.

It was an act of observation, of deeply respecting what was already there.

The beams still speak, the windows still frame the morning mist just as they once did, and every corner holds onto that warmth that can’t be faked. That cabin, now a living home, remains a refuge—because it still smells of forest, of adventure.
